Perhaps it would be helpful to point out when on-screen romance is done right.
Dawn and Tim from The Office is one such example. It's impossible not to feel some emotion when she unwraps Tim's present and sees his note 'never give up'.
Enjoy ...
so, i was just thinking about what the worst kiss scene might be.. tbh, i'm not that interested in romance as a genre, but i appreciate a screen romance as much as the next person, as long as it's well done and believable.. i think the kiss between finn and rose in the last jedi must rank as one of the worst.
there was no chemistry between the two characters, and rose's kiss surprised finn as much as the audience, lol.. pure cringe .... https://youtu.be/79cnws71xli.

what is it with disney star wars?
why is it that seemingly everything disney touches turns to shit?
what the f**k are these scooters doing in the book of boba fett?!
@markweatherill
Pointing out a flaw in the prequel trilogy doesn't make Disney Star Wars products any better.
The magic of Star Wars pretty much ended with the final scene of Return of the Jedi.
Nevertheless, Disney were handed the most successful film franchise in history and somehow f**ked things up. 🙄
cofty could you answer how the single cell came about by chance?.
i know the argument for complexity in nature says natural selection over billions of years but this could not explain the complexity of the single cell the building blocks of life?.
Thanks Cofty. 👍
I quite like Cool Worlds. His personal reflection bit at the end is pretty good.
He's quite thoughtful, admits when he doesn't know stuff, points out the gaps in scientific knowledge, and considers different possibilities.
It should be essential viewing for the guy who started this OP - ExB.

There is an interesting video from youtuber Cool Worlds called The Ultimate question, well worth a look.
I don't know how to post it here using my phone but if someone else could do that it would be great.
whether you like or loathe the guy, agree or disagree, surely he has a right to express his opinions freely on twitter?.
every bbc employee who appears on tv or speaks on the radio, should now be paranoid about any opinions they've put on their social media accounts, because if the bbc are prepared to censor/silence lineker, they'll go for anyone.. oops: looks like the bbc can dictate what their staff can & can't say in their social media accounts.. https://www.bbc.co.uk/editorialguidelines/guidance/individual-use-of-social-media.
pity they weren't as strict with their high profile paedophile, mr. savile..
Of course, there is one way that will solve this whole issue at a single stroke - stop the license fee, and let the Beeb compete in the real world against Sky, Amazon, Netflix, etc.
That way, Lineker can be as impartial as he likes on social media.

@Boogerman
Yes, the BBC seems to have treated Gary Lineker harshly, and I fully understand the issues around free speech.
But, firstly, Lineker signed a contract with the BBC. And that contract must have said something about the organisation's impartiality rules.
Secondly, the BBC is funded by the British public. Not all of them agree with Lineker's childish tweets - large swathes of the public disagree with what he said. If the Beeb is to continue receiving license fees, it must remain politically neutral as best as it can. Lineker keeps taking a giant shit on that.

Part of the charm of the original trilogy was that the universe looked different, but lived-in for the most part. Going to see Star Wars in 1977 and seeing all the characters, aliens, technologies, ships and planets must have been so good.
And here we have shiny, 70s-looking scooters.
But without wheels.
F**k me

'In particular the Secretary of State said illegal immigrants were "invading" our country' - you're talking nonsense, SBF.
When did the Nazis say this?
There is just no comparison to be made. The Nazis called Jews, Gypsies and Slavs 'Untermensch' (subhuman), and gassed millions to death.
The UK, on the other hand, is trying to stop people from drowning in the English Channel.
No comparison.
