  Good News Covid vaccine on the way !

  latest news announcement is that there are two companies that have developed a vaccine for the covid virus which they say they will start being distributing to the public in a matter of weeks.. one comes from a company called moderna (94.5% effective) and the other is from pfizer (90% effective).

  if all things go to plan you could see things return to normal once the majority of the general public is vaccinated by easter of next year.. yoo hoo .

  A vaccine is good news but, frankly, the problem I have is the UK government locking down the whole of the UK again. This is the equivalent of a surgeon performing microsurgery with a 14lb lump hammer.

  COVID is lethal to the elderly, those who are obese, those who have diabetes, and other vulnerable groups.

  Generally speaking, it isn't lethal to healthy people.

  We're dealing with this virus all wrong.

  The vulnerable groups should isolate; everyone else should be going to work or school, living their lives as normal as possible.

  (Sweden has had no lockdowns and no compulsive wearing of masks at all, and Sweden is still doing ok.)

  Nice attempt to turn the world on its head there - no, I wasn't doing that at all.

  Trump's team obviously say the vote was rigged. They've obviously got bias.

  But the media also have bias. There have been plenty of journalists (e.g. The Daily Mail's Stephen Glover) who, without going into the irregularities, dismiss them as nothing. This is lazy journalism and shows an anti-Trump bias.

  as i had mentioned in one of my past posts, i strongly felt the democrats would win the presidency because they know they can cheat and not get prosecuted.

  Apparently, BLM are pointing out they helped Biden win and now they want Biden to accept their demands.

  So why has the politcal system in Washington proclaiming Biden as the President elect if the Democrats didn't win more States than Trump through the electoral college count ? - the political system has done just that, basing their declaration on the fact that Biden won more electoral votes than Trump.

  But the 'political system' and mainstream media have conveniently brushed the voting irregularities under the carpet. There seems to be a blanket line trotted out by all media (including right-wing outlets such as The Daily Mail) that says Trump's lawyers won't find any evidence of wrong-doing. <---- how do the media know this? A: they don't; they're just saying this to help get Biden elected.

  Of course Trump would say it's rigged.

  Let's do a quick mental exercise - imagine if Democrats noticed voting irregularities and those irregularities seemed to favour Trump. Can you imagine how the media and voters would react?

  They call Trump a fascist because he wants to deport illegal immigrants - imagine what they'd call him if 'glitches' and news of 130,000 votes for Trump came in at 4 am, lol.
