Gazprom Energy is a new player on the dutch energy market for businesses. The dutch branch (located in Den Bosch) is now active for some 3 years and has also branches in the UK , Ireland, France and Germany. The gas is not from Gazprom but delivered by GTS (Gas Transport Services formerly known as Gasunie) . GTS is an international gas trader and 100% state owned by the dutch government.
The electricity is also not russian. They do not produce energy in western europe but buy it from europes providers a and sell it again at a more compettitive rate.
Many companies and also our dutch governent has got deals with gazprom in russia of gazprom energy in the Netherlands. The situation with MH17, Ukraine or human rights did not influence that at all.
Big chance you heat your home and prepare your food with russian gas too because a lot of the gas (if not most) on their network is norwegian and russian.
