here's a great jw brain stumper about noah
by nowwhat? inso noah was a preacher of righteousness.
than how did he warn other pockets of civilizations that were hundreds or thousands of miles away?
and if they were destroyed anyway i thought jehovah only acts after he gives clear warning.. and if there were no other civilzations why the need to destroy the entire earth of every living creature?

That tale is like swiss cheese. The longer you look at it the more holes you find.
Around the 1700s another writer of similar tales penned stories that are more interesting . He writes about a character called Gulliver!

Welcome SK.
"...all to interact..." Not so. Active JW'S who try to propagate their religion on this website often get ram-rodded pretty hard. This also includes Scientiologists among others though none have been eager to venture into these realms so far. OH yes !Brahma Kumaries too. ESPECIALLY Brahma Kumaries.
By the way . Which part of India are you from?

My new answer to an annoying question we have all been asked.
by doubtfull1799 inwell new to me anyway, i'm sure someone smarter than me has thought of this before.
the next time i get asked the perennial (and tired old) question: “but you do believe that the gb are god’s channel of communication, the organisation he is using, don’t you?” or some variation thereof, i am going to reply with two verses and reason as follows:.
the matter to be established: have the gb of jehovah’s witnesses received divine appointment to act as god’s representatives and channel of communication on earth?.

...do you believe that the GB..."
You bet.
Channel to a non existent entity preaching a non existent "truth", hoping for a non existent future and empty worship to a non existent god.

Baker: yup he did . But his coolaid killed. But the GB's coolaid... it keeps you on the rack. Squeezing very ounce of money ,emotion, individual and free thought, indeed your very soul. Wringing it dry so that you want to die but cant! That's the difference.

Blondie: Most Jws have never heard of Beth Sarin and if they do it's put down to " all apostate driven lies".
Now speaking of Warwick and the advert to visit. Does this translate to more money? The dumb hobites must of course be ecstatic that they are privileged to walk Hobo god's Sanctum Santorum. The place where he , through his progeny jesus, will rule the earth "Oh!so very soooon!."
The awe and the majesty of the place must loosen their parsimonious purses and ...Cha Ching! The previously bursting coffers of the GB now are mountains of never ending green streams of Ben Franklins! Along with the foolish gold silver and real estate haplessly donated by the hypnotized wide - eyed halibuts!
And they return home thrilled, overjoyed and bursting with happiness . HOBO god has blessed them with a glimpse of his domain- never mind the warning jinggles of meagre nickels and dimes in their impecunious pant pockets!
Hobo god will provide!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA
That's the insane laughter of the GB. All the way to the Bank!!

It just struck me while reading another post on the forum. The Catholics have numerous shrines all over the world and places of pilgrimage and the mother of them all ... ROME. The muslims have Mecca and Medina. The Mormons have Utah. The Jews Jerusalem. The JW'S now have Warwick as a place of pligrimage. Of course the Bethel in each country is also a place of pligrimage locally. And these bastards claim their religion is different from all others. Yup differently similar! But same difference?

What's your degree of anti-JWness?
by Landy inso, on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is absolutely pro-jw, 5 is neutral and 10 is youtubing nutjob apostate, where do you stand?.
i'm probably around a 6. i have the view that jws are a nothing marginal religion.
if i hadn't been brought up as one i doubt they would have ever entered my consciousness.. the reasons it's a 6 and not a 5 is that i have some concerns over their child baptism and safeguarding procedures, but i think it's down to them being a bit dim rather than any pro child abusing ethos.
