  i read here regularly and although i haven't joined in, i really appreciate all the wonderful contributions from those who are willing to share their experiences.... .

  i was a convert.

  i won't go into the whole history ( perhaps another day) - my story could easily be recognised in the small town where i live, with my husband.. so, we stopped going to the meetings around a period of time when we were going through severe emotional difficulties - at that point, we needed unconditional family love - the hectic, forced jw dinner parties and social occasions gave no real comfort.

  I do the bathrooms .garden and vaccuming. When we expect guests, the whole house gets a going over. I do the dusting and cleaning then. She does the rest.

  Kendrick " Letter of Introduction " from Elders regarding Candace Conti Case

  as many of us saw in the pbs news hour program and the abc news nightline program the elders from one congregation failed to communicate properly to the elders in another congregation concerning the child molester jonathan kendrick when he moved to a new congregation.

  i have parts of this " introduction letter " from the fremont congregation to the oakley congregation elders so you can read it for yourself and decide how irresponsible these wt appointed elders were.

  Thanks for those responses. YES we need to get this out to everybody. At present I'm in a running battle with the person who bought me into the cult. Having a hard time convincing him. He has the cult mindset. Just today he stated he could prove the bible wrong because it had so many inconsistencies. "But that doesn't make it wrong".

  How in hell do you argue againt closed minds llike that, leave alone convince them? I am posting this as well as the court documents regarding the Conti case and other cases involving JW'sand pedophilia. Hope it convinces him.Thanks again

  i know of the local congregation's issues, per an elder i know quite well.

  he has said that nearly everyone in the congregation is suffering emotionally and mentally.

  he said he has never seen so many witnesses with so many problems.
