I said this would happen 6 months ago! I had reliable inside knowledge. I mention the word "full" multiple times. That's exactly what the letter states.

Kingdom Consolidation and Sales are coming – Reliable Source
by thedepressedsoul ini heard form a reliable source that a kingdom hall consolidation is going to be happening in the us.
currently they are looking at every kingdom hall to see if they could and should sell it.
any kingdom hall that has not been updated and is in a bad location (long driveway, not in a visible location etc...) will be sold.

I posted this article 6 months ago. I would like to note that this is now in fact taking place like I had on good word it would. I mention a "full" look multiple times. That's exactly what the letter states.
Enjoy the longer drive "friends"!

"Friends" are confused who and where they should be donating!
by thedepressedsoul inas most of you are aware there is a money issue inside of jw land.
they could be running out of money or they're just wanting more.
either way, they are making it appear as a funds issue to motivate individuals to donate more.

Whoa, so it has happened now? There is a donate button on the website to electronically donate?!
Yes, when you login you can either do a one time donation or set it up for a reoccurring donation with a credit card. Guess debt is ok now, as long is it's for the branch!
They just showed the feature on last months broadcast in a video.

Over the past few months, the GB have been asking for donations to further the work, they are showing people donating right on JW.org, and the elders in most halls are asking the friends to donate more because they are not meeting their quota that they agreed upon with the branch each month (The loan that they act like isn't a lone anymore, just a lifetime payout now).
I've been hearing from multiple elders and surrounding congregations that the friends are confused as to where they should be donating!
They have the elders asking for more funds to be made out as a "congregation" donation to meet the quota and you have the GB asking for more money for the "World Wide Work" donations. Yes, they are two different funds. Whatever is made out to "World Wide Work" has to go directly to the branch. The local congregation cannot use that for local expenses or to meet the amount they agreed to pay the branch. It is separate from the monthly quota and cannot be used to meet it! At the hall, JW's also have the option to donate to "Local" which is for all the congregation expenses. Out of this local, all the hall expenses are paid, the amount they have to send the branch each month for the loan, the set amount they send the branch for the CO assistance program and the amount they send the branch each month for "insurance if someone gets hurt". Which I have yet to ever hear of a case of that happening so they're probably just pocketing that money. Basically a hall is sending money to the branch in 4 different funds (3 of which come out of local congregation donations, not World Wide Work) but all going to the same place.
The friends do not know where they should be donating! On one end they have the elders asking them to donate to the congregation so they can meet their expenses and the amount they send the branch. They are confused as to why they are still donating to the "World Wide Work" if they are already donating to the congregation which is sending money to the branch each month. To make matters even more confusing they are seeing the donate feature on JW.org and their videos, should they be using that too? They basically have 3 different places and spots they are being asked to donate. From what I've heard it's stretching the friends thin and pressuring them to donate to all of these different areas.
It seems the GB are attempting to triple dip. They want everyone to donate enough to the local congregation to meet the amount the congregation said they'd send to the branch each month, including the separate CO and insurance amount they send every month. They also want and are begging in their videos for them to donate to the World Wide Work at the congregation. The 3rd is you then have them promoting the use of jw.org to donate directly to the branch!
All three donations are ending up at the same place, minus whatever little the congregation uses for electric and internet. They are asking, "Where am I to donate?". They want to help the congregation meet their bills and set amount they send to the branch but they also want to donate more for the World Wide Work since the GB is asking for more financial help in that area.
You know it's obvious if the uneducated JW's start asking questions and are noticing all these money requests from all different angles, yet they're all going to the same place. This new donation arrangement is causing a ton of issues. It made more sense in the mind of a JW when it was viewed as a "building loan".
I smell franchise!

2015 Regional Convention Anthony Morris Governing Body encourages coerced baptism of unwilling children ...again

Can't remember exactly where but just recently I heard the comment that "humble elders will train younger men to fill their positions, and then modestly step aside.
I wonder how soon those old guys on the governing body will do what they told others to do?You're a GB for life once you're in. You'd have to go off the deep end to be removed. Too much of a PR issue to have a GB step down, df or removed. They'd probably put you in a back corner, not let you give many talks to have a say in anything vs removing them and having the PR issue.
I'm also 99% sure that after Franz DF and book, all GB have to sign disclosure of what they can do, say, repeat etc.. or face legal actions.

What kind of a guy say stuff like this?
Every Watchtower president. He actually reminds me a lot of the WT presidents of the past. I'm almost certain that if it was the old arrangement he'd be president. Heck, he probably pretty much is the leader/president of the GB, it's just not officially known anymore.
He has all the traits of the past leaders.

I am certain Botchtower knows that born-in children are one of their key areas of bleeding when it comes to loss of membership. This is why he's focusing on this.
I agree but there is another aspect that's worrying them just as much. They are seeing the older generation dying off at a quick rate. The hardcore, older ones are passing away. At such a rate that the young blood isn't replacing the numbers, let alone enough to keep growth up.
If kids keep leaving at this rate there is going to be an even bigger gap in the average age of a JW than there already is. They are bleeding out both ends, young and old.

Every time he says:
"Explain that one to- Heaven
- God
- Jesus
You know, I've often wondered if GB actually believe it all. I am 99% sure that Tight Pants Tony thinks he's the 2nd Jesus. He really thinks he has a direct line and that he has the authority to speak for god and where the bible is silent.
With this guy in charge, which I believe he is, do not expect to see any and I mean ANY relaxations in the borg. DF will get worse, shunning will get worse and so on. This guy is on a major power trip, attach that with thinking he's the next level after Jesus and you've got a very scary situation.
It's funny how lower mankind has always had to go through "higher" mankind to have a relationship with god.
If there prophecy is true about the nations turning on religion, it's 100% religions fault, including their own. They would have done that one to themselves.

They teach that marriage is the 2nd biggest decision of a Christians life, the 1st being baptism.
They also unofficially taught that a person is not developed enough, whether it's their decision making portion of their brain, their likes and dislikes until your mid 20's (Read the Young People Ask book marriage and dating). Try dating in JW land at 18 or before your 20's and 99% of the time you will get talked to about your age and the importance this decision will have on your life. Some elders will go as far as stating that you should wait until "you're older and more mature to date".
Despite that, they also teach that the 1st biggest decision of your life should be done when you are young. It's now getting even lower by touching on things like driver's license and giving examples of very young baptisms.
Do you see the double speak and hypocrisy? You're not responsible or mature enough to make the 2nd biggest decision in your life but you are ready to make the "the biggest" one.
I'm not downplaying either. Both getting baptized and getting married are two huge decision that someone should heavily evaluate. Both can be devastating and life altering if it doesn't work out. Would you marry someone just because mommy or daddy thought you should or others pressured you to do so? I'd hope not...
Could you imagine Jesus (if you believe in him) telling all those little kids around him and on his lap that they should get baptized if they feel they can ride a horse or go out and work? It's nutty and whether you believe in the bible or not, it's far from what the bible suggest and the few examples given. And since they claim to represent the god of the bible, you'd think they'd try to follow it. I've always said though, the bible can be used to push any agenda or idea, there's always a scripture that applies and can justified to fit your point or agenda.
That double speak shows me that they are all about the numbers to them. They don't care if is young Joe publisher is mature enough to get baptized or how old Susie is. All it is to them is growth on their chart that allows them to keep using the "huge growth" as a reason to need money along with buy and build a real estate portfolio. Not to mention it's 100x harder for young baptized Joe to leave when he's mature enough to realize it's not for him and actually have a decrease on the numbers than spiritually weak Alex who never decided to get baptized.

Are they banning college again?
by thedepressedsoul ini wasn't alive for this but my parents and many old timers told me that at one point it was pretty much a rule that you couldn't go to college.
some of you may remember that from that time.
over time they relaxed that rule to that you did what you had to do in order to provide for yourself.

thedepressedsoul
Wow, it's really been 10 years? I must have been in a bubble or our elders must have been more relaxed because about all younger ones I know are currently doing at least community college. Even ones that have 2-3 years to go are still planning on it.
I'd be very nervous to have a kid right now. You have to worry about all the stuff going on in school and now you have to worry about them dealing w JW rules too.
My favorite is when some elders start to bash higher education in their comments or from the stage and they themselves have gone to college or sent their kids to college. I know a lot of JW that get very annoyed by that.
