Australian Witnesses shock bombshelled!! Arrogant Elders at Commision on Pedophiles!!

getting alot of e-mails from angry brothers saying things like i qoute "this is the straw broke the camels back.." "bloody idiots.." etc.

last nights news featured the australian commision into jehovah's witness elders not reporting pedophiles.

it was very damning!

These men were so complacent about their past "wins" in courts around the world that they forgot about the other side of the legal coin. This is what has happened. The Royal Commission starts softly,softly as a prelude to the inevitably harder questions. Documents are perused, the WT men are lulled by past victories and have failed to take into account that evidence is there. Hard copy evidence, with their signatures....it's all there. This is the style adopted and it is has been gratifying to watch these mad men believe that they could disarm the commission based upon some frail belief that god would back them to the hypocritical hilt. And now? They are starting to experience what it feels like to be exposed and forced into acknowledging their own bloody signatures. It is amazing and at the same time tragic, then liberating......it's a scary journey to defend oneself after so long in the dark.

I have so much to say from what I have seen, it is heartening to me for all of us who suffered, to feel the weight of legal, moral clarity entering into this investigation.

Why are none of the 'Governing Body' being summoned to any of the abuse commissions?

i'm not sure if this has been covered but i'm wondering why none of the gb are being requested at or formally summoned to any of the australian abuse commissions or other investigations that are taking place around the world?

they after all are the ones single handedly responsible for making and enforcing all the rules that are the sole cause of all these abuses and problems.. why are they just keeping their silent distance and leaving all the ill-equipped and sadly incompetent local elders exposed to take the full public blast, criticism and humiliation for all that is now being brought out in these investigations?

how are they seemingly able to sit cosy in their ivory tower immune and unaccountable?.

This Royal Commission is also about compensation. I didn't know that at first and am delighted at the implications. It's no wonder that they have tightened their belts so much lately...You know, cost cutting for the world wide preaching work and all that crap...Now we know that WTBTS has less leverage than they would like. They cannot exert their influence in legal or political matters and crawl out unscathed. Money is some thing that really makes WT cry....the mere contemplation of payouts is enough to make them call this the start of the Great Tribulation. I kid you not. This is already being said.....

WT in Australia is for all of Australasia......that is huge! The GB would need nappies to contain the amount of s... that they are s......ing. They have done us a great service in leaving it to the idiots here to deal with the Royal Commission. The thing is. They, the JWs never thought that it would get tough. They were mistaken and misjudged the alacrity of those conducting it. They truly think they are so above "us' that they have over reached themselves and are now showing a wonderfully poor history that is documented.These documents were subpoenaed, they had no choice but to hand them over. The party line is that they are so "co-operative" but that is because they had no choice but to be co-operative. It was that or a court case, and who wants that?

My nephew is an elder. He is in Sydney trying to give positive points to his mum. Of course this is all bullshit based as anyone can see from the video's that Barbara has put up and from my live stream here. I have worried family here for they know that I am the family "loose canon", which means I tell the bloody truth. Now that has gone against them. I think Punkofnice made a wonderful and insanely delightful comment about disfellowshipping Australia.

Yes!! The GB could do that and it would feel like some sort of nirvana to me....if wishes were horses and all that...........

Lemon party.org. It's okay, I am a real threat to them due to fact. They are running scared in my part of the world. I just felt a second of anxiety. I look for the nice old caustic and funny remarks made here. It sets me back on track.

the posts here are flooding in on the subject of the watchtowers toleration of sexual abuse being publicised in the world media.

sure they print and say its wrong like everyone else does but what their policies show above all is the lack of genuine, humane care and considerate welfare for its members.

there must be so many voiceless jw victims and perhaps now they can speak out..

I need to let you know that here in Australia the Royal Commission is alive and well. Also, they are damned if they do and damned if they don't, where issues of protecting the young are concerned. Such is the research and acquisition of documents bearing their signatures and their almost lemming like addiction to referring to the Awake and Watchtower study articles; that at times it is incredible to those who are sitting or presiding over these proceedings... It sounds insane to the reasonable mind and this is evident in the facial expressions of those who are questioning.

The ones being questioned are not giving the wonderful "witness" that they are used to bragging about. And it shows. At times, the when there is dryness of their lying mouths, they are not offered water.......this is to let them know that this is not a light hearted chat about theology, it is about wrongful behaviour past and present. The atmosphere is tense.......for the JWs not for the terribly damaged victims....Don't worry people. This will not vaporise into a nothing, something will come out of this and it will be called "justice".

username.....That was purely fantastic in the most original sense of the word. And, the Royal Commission let him have all the time he needed to f&*(*^ that one up....It was brilliant in terms of giving the idiot a lot more rope than I thought they had....These are not fools to be tampered with in any legal or ........other sense. WT is out of touch with the vested powers that they have. They allow for great amounts of silence, this is good in that it shows how the distortions are being delivered. The heat is on "them", not on the victims. This is good practice, for they allowed whatsisname to show his arrogance...

they are trying to make this story disappear into obscurity, irrelevance, as if it's just part and parcel of big institutional life, particularly of the religious nature.

oh, now they compare themselves to every other religion on the block?.

Awesome bit of humour at the right time. I really do love it when you people come out with your' wonderfully irreverent quips. Please keep them coming, they were one of the things that helped me in my dark early days of fear on this site........I get such a kick out of this black humour that it restores my faith in people....Of course you do realise that you are demonised don't you?

steve2.....I would like to say that in this country, they will not be allowed to shy away. The RC will not allow for such a slippery move. Legislation will be drawn up and money will be taken out of the coffers of the WT. This much I do know about Australian Government. They are not fond of religious abuse's, they do not allow exemptions and when they can get their teeth into "fact" they will not succumb to the time worn phrases that spew out of WT mouths. For, as you know. Witnesses have like to say in the past that the legal platform allowed for a "good witness". Well. What a tragicomic statement that is today.

Trust me on this for I am in the midst of it. The frustration and disgust is very evident. The JW community are in a state of decay and shut down. I have been attacked verbally already. I have made a clear note of that........This will not go away....

A conversation with some one relating to the investigation in australia

just thought i would relate a conversation i was having with a some what of a wishey washey jw.

first of all i was sitting having breakfast this morning listening to the trial highlights provided by barbra anderson.

i could just feel my blood boiling ( this was also combined that i was also feeling rather lousy from a cold).

It is also a great fear of being exposed for the things they have hidden. I know this first hand. I have been subjected to "visits" for the past two weeks.

If I ever thought I was in the wrong as a child, if I ever thought I was evil.......I no longer believe it. I was subjected to a terrible scene yesterday by my sister. I would have remained quiet. Now I cannot do it. I have to defend myself. Sorry. Very sorry. I feel overwhelmed by her hatred of me and her accusation that I would be putting the name of Jehovah in a bad light. This is what she said.

Oh, how I hate what I have just typed. But, you know. Go out with a bang and all that......
