Sinclair is an excellent speaker and questioner. He is living proof of fair and honest authority in "that wicked world" that WTBTS loves to hammer home to all of it's believers.

The way this Royal Commission will play out will be with the welfare of victims in mind. If WT thinks it can deceive those conducting the inquiry, then it is in for a nasty shock.

It seems like all the pieces are falling into place at the moment, for, the society has requested more donated funds and is stream lining assemblies, cutting out the large ones that are held here in Australia. The reason given to me over the weekend, by an elder; was that there is a lack of funds and they need to cut costs.

This elder came to see me two months ago with his wife. I did say in one of my earlier posts that this elder launched straight into his experience as a victim of abuse. I thought it was odd at the time as I had said that my interest lay in the capacity of the witnesses to prove their beliefs using only the bible.

This elder is aware of what happened to me via my family. I wonder. Is this sudden ongoing interest in my spirituality a means to keep informed as to what I will do, or say about this commission? There will be many worried elders and those above them. They will want to know who is with them or against them. I have never had such an effort made by any elder before this recent time ( Royal Commission) Normally, I have been ignored as one who is basically lost and of no value.

The society is up against some very well educated people who have tremendous mental faculties that are put to use in uncovering all the facts.

Orphan Cow. Oh yes! I did hear that. It was a brilliant slip and showed his inner thoughts about those "abused". Jackson was CO in my congregation as well. I remember him very well, a neat little man, all starchy collars and cuffs. Like a little rooster as he strutted onto the platform and off.

The all of a sudden........he was gone. The reason given was that they don't like a CO to stay around for too long in a region as it doesn't keep a fresh perspective. That may be true, but it makes me wonder as well.

I may be in Sydney this week, for reasons related to this hearing

Don't you know that? That is how a witness would view the advice from the WT as opposed to believing for one second that out there in the big world, there are lovely people.

I did miss that slip up. I will try to find that in the transcript. The questioning is well done and the evasive manner of those being questioned is very obvious to those conducting the investigation. Much, much more will come out and it will not be on WT terms. Already they are asking why the society didn't feel bad for the victims and would they do things differently today. Answer..........basically the same as it has always been. Phone head quarters first. They all said that.

I agree with great sadness and anger. I don't know what to think at the moment. I was shocked all over again at the testimony of these women. They held such hope and faith, they were treated less than an animal. There is no sense of "shame" of wanting to put things right that I have heard from Jackson. He is strictly corporate and has not one ounce of decency in him. He is an anit witness if anything. He is perfectly suited to being an example of JWs lack of empathy. I want them to give him a lot of rope.........coils of the stuff

They keep repeating the party line about calling the legal department. No matter how they try to squirm out of it. In the end it comes down to saying just that. They cannot deny it as the Royal Commission has the "book" right there infront of them and refer to it for information. For those who are defending the WT view, it's a hard one to get out of. They can't lie, not really, for it they do that then they lose credibility straight away. It's interesting in a legal sense.

Jacksons callousness is so evident in his voice. I always remember wondering why he was taken off the circuit in 2011-12. Now I see why. He was aware of impending investigation and was taken out of the lime light. That is my opinion only

This figure is just for Australia alone. That is an amazing figure considering there are about sixty four thousand witnesses in this country. Not a good look. I will keep you posted as this is important stuff.

Over hear the flash news keep crossing the TV with regard to the commission. I think a lot of JWs in the top spots must feel very uncomfortable right now

I have just finished listening to this man Jackson. I remember him well. He is twisting things around as much as he is allowed. Those questioning him are very skilled however, and they are posing questions to him straight from the Shepherding The Flock book. In one of those questions, it is pointed out to Jackson that the " accused is to be made as comfortable as possible". He was stumped by that question coming out of their own book.

The questioners then put to him that there was" no mention made at all, of putting the accuser or victim at ease". When asked how he recalled this, he was evasive. The "book" was referred to again. Jackson tried to skirt the question until he finally conceded that yes, it's true, there is no mention made of how the victim/accuser, must feel and be made to feel. He sounds so smug, so utterly without feeling and full of confidence. I feel angry at this entire twisted response of the WT

There is a distance that the Royal Commission is able to attain in searching out the facts. It is a useful distance that enables them to see clearly what is legal and illegal. However, I fear I really fear, that some quick witted JW lawyer will twist this all around. I do hope sincerely that this is spotted and stopped. I have seen the Royal Commission do some very good work in the past,. Not allowing for slithering out of a question, insisting upon facts, forcing the person questioned to simply answer in the affirmative or negative. I do like that about the psyche of the Australian mentality.
