A very important link. So if anyone has heard from any friends or family in the area please add them or if possible get them to find a way to add their names to the list
I found my family today, my Aunt and cousins, they are safe in Baton Rouge.
The Cell number I had didnt work, so I googled info and name for my cousin and found his website.I am lucky he has a website. If someone you are looking for works at a business you might can leave an email asking their whereabouts . I know the Red Cross is handling peoples emails.
Cell phone batteries are long dead now, so try to email anyone who may know someone you are looking for, you might get lucky and find them soon.
Several Alexander Kin are still missing or unknown as well as a few others. We are still hoping though!

We had friends in Biloxi (JW's that we haven't talked to in about 30 years) but I remembered them, and had a JW friend of mine try to find out. They are fine, and had evacuated. I wonder if they took their disfellowshipped son and his family with them.

I had not seen this one and OMG - the family that Six, Sparkplug, Mozz and I are helping have a little girl. We didn't know the status of the little girl's mom AND HER NAME IS HERE AS ALIVE!!! Thank YOU! As soon as Mozz gets out of the shower, we're headed over to their apartment to let them know. THANK YOU!!!

Just heard from my mom that my aunt and uncle survived the hurricane. They're are living in a makeshift shelter between thier car and what left of thier house. They are out of food and only have enough water to last another day. All of the aid is being sent to New Orleans and Biloxi, but there is no help yet for the people who are stranded outside the city.
