    Thank you Six of Nine.

If we could keep this going BTT it would be great. There are some job opportunities for people who may need work and do not have too many attachments.

Also I have learned of a family that is going to be takin in by The first Christian Church of Richardson and they may be needing some help.

A lady I work with has 30 families in her church that have taken in displaced family members. They have been asked to just supply meals for them for a three month period. I will have more details on that later.

My kids and I..older kiddos...will probably be going to the arena on Sunday depending what we find out from the volunteer work that we get assigned and work as long as possible. I will let you know what I have found out as I am told.

There are a few avenues posted above so jot down the info and pass it on. Please.

    Thanks for sharing that info.

I just e-mailed Ms. Van Sickle at the Residence Inn to see if it would be alright for me to ship some things to them for the Free Garage Sales.

As I am quite lacking in finances and quite far from the devastation, I hate feeling so powerless to help. If you could keep posting possible ways to do so, I would appreciate it.

The Lost & Found section at Craigslist New Orleans has turned into a Missing Persons board.

Sounds great the things people are doing to help. Has anyone heard anything about the jdubs going to help anyone except jdubs of course, I haven't heard anything from where I am. So just wondered what if anything anyone else has heard. I have people still in and haven't heard anything either so what gives. They talk a lot and do damn little, Just give us your money and show faith in the borg, and yes remember give us more of you unrighteous riches. What a bucnch of rectum circles.

BTW- the job offered for construction to rebuild NO is a hoax. I called the number - the company never heard about the job opportunities. In the midst of all the disasters, there are still some playing games... They had many calls this morning. Construction company hiring 1000 people to help with hurricane clean up.
