I know most of those you in the the path of Katrina probably cannot even see this right now...but I hope you are all okay.
My stepkids used to live in Port Sulphur, LA...thank god they don't any more, but their grandmother still does. I just got off the phone with their mom, and her mother and brother are okay...they are up somewhere safe in Missippi, but their house is completely gone...I hear that whole parish is in really bad shape, as bad or even worse than New Orleans.
I see Bryan is safe...and if any of you know of others that are in that area, if you know they are safe, please let us know.
Maybe this latest hurricane will convince LA and other areas to rethink developement in such flood zones...so next time the devastation in loss of life and property isn't so extreme.
