Thanks all, and thanks for the birthday wishes!
I started looking online and was amazed how many support sites there are for former Dubs, and wished I had found them a long time ago. I guess part of it was the "apostate stigma" that the Dubs put on anyone who writes about the wtbts on the internet (even back in '95 and '96 when I left). Funny how even after you leave some things are still embedded so deeply. Anyway, after looking at alot of sites i could see that these were really sincere people, not demonized agents of Satan or whoever, who just want to share their experiences outside of the org. I think it's great here.
