    Alas no, KatieKitten, I was a poor answerer in the KH at best. It's just a nod towards gringojj's splendid thread devoted to the resplendent quetzal. I was so moved by the spiritual food, so timely delivered unto us in these deeply troubling times, that I cannot help myself resonating in resplendency!!!!!!!!!!! How fortunate we are!!!!

    Iggy what can I say other than I am moved by your inspiration from my threads. Based on the fact that I gave you your food at the proper time, I would say that I am actually the fds. From this point forward you are not to question anything I say. Do not bring reproach upon my name. How fortunate you are!!!!!!!!!!!!

    There are so many things I would not have known without them telling me; for instance;

    In modern times such eagerness, commendable in itself, has led to attempts at setting dates for the desired liberation from the suffering and troubles that are the lot of persons throughout the earth. With the appearance of the book Life Everlasting—in Freedom of the Sons of God, and its comments as to how appropriate it would be for the millennial reign of Christ to parallel the seventh millennium of man’s existence, considerable expectation was aroused regarding the year 1975. There were statements made then, and thereafter, stressing that this was only a possibility. Unfortunately, however, along with such cautionary information, there were other statements published that implied that such realization of hopes by that year was more of a probability than a mere possibility. It is to be regretted that these latter statements apparently overshadowed the cautionary ones and contributed to a buildup of the expectation already initiated. Watchtower 1980 3/15

    I witnesses this and never once saw a 'cautionary statement' made about 1975. Live and learn. BTW this is as close to an apology as you will ever find on this issue. I guess that should do it for those who got no education, sold homes, forewent having children, sold businesses in expectation. IT was all our fault anyway.
