The only one I knew was about the ostrich and its egg. I give you a few from the wildlife world:
The Golden eagle can spot a hare in daylight from 2 miles away.
The common house fly carries 30 diseases
The black bullfrog ant carries a sting that may kill a man in 15 minutes
The sea snake is the most venomous in the world 100 times more than the runner up.

There is no such thing as a black bullfrog ant, perhaps the writer meant the bullet ant which is among the most toxic but only hurts a lot if it nails a human. The most toxic ant will kill a mouse if bitten 12 times. I suppose if someone is allergic, they will go into shock if stuck much like a bee sting.

Just so noone thinks I believe I know everything, it took 10 minutes with google to find the errors. It illustrates the folly of believing everthing you read. Check the sources and if it is important dig a little deeper.
