I think you are being too drastic there since the Bible especially the christian scriptures have been used to good effect by serious christian religions and there is nothing inherently wrong with them, it's just that the jws and other cultish organisations have misinterpreted and misused them to confuse and exploit people.

I don't know. I think a strong case can be made that more bad than good has been done in the name of the Bible/Christianity.
Every one should read the book "The Bible Fruad" by Tony Bushby then his next book the "Bible Mistery"

Of course non-cultish Christianity has never been guilty of any of these things
Pick any church you wish and ask doctrinal questions. Then....take those answers to 10 different non-cultish churches and see if any of them agree with the first church you went to...........then ask yourself if your confused. Ask them if it's ok to drink, dance, masterbate, use medicinal marijuana. Is abortion OK? Is it wrong if you back president bush? Will Muslims survive when christ comes? Ask em stuff like that and see if they do not act just like the cults do.

Those book quoted.... even then they are just an opinon. One way or another, regarless of whether you believe it or not, its done a lot of good for some people.
