Have any GB members ever had a real job?

I read over the notes on the Timothy drama and can't remember when I've been so upset. The no-college drivel messed up my life 45 years ago, and they are still pulling the same thing on our young people.

If a GB member has ever had a job, has it been in recent years with the high cost of living? If I remember correctly, only one has every had a family, Albert Schroeder, and he actually graduated from the University of Michigan. I think he was first contacted by the JW's while still in school.

A friend of ours went to the assembly last weekend, and he said people are walking around like zombies.

I suppose some of them may have had to support themselves but only in their 20's or teen's.

That might offer a big explaination as to thier position on college. They are so out of touch with what the poor friends go through, they are old guys set in thier way and they don't have a clue about the real world outside of bethel, since they haven't worked in it for many decades.

I think they were always dedicated to the borg and were near the inner circle that controls everything in the WTS otherwise they would never enter it. It's obvious that they are out of touch with all aspects of a normal human life out there in the real world.
