Do you think that The Watchtower organisation will still be in existence 50 years from now?
If it is still around, will there still be thousands left of the Annoited, partaking each year at the Memorial?
How will The Watchtower HAVE to change in the next half century?
What doctrines have they changed in the last 50 years?
Are bigger changes in store for the future?
Or will they still be teaching the same doctrines in the year 2055 as they always have?

50 years ago...1955...the world was different. nuclear weapons threatened the world more than ever. america was at war with north korea after WW2. technology was different. everything was different. american had an enemy with an armed forces that could defend itself. 50 years from now, lots of things could happen. long ago people thought the world would end in the year 2000.
things that could happen:
one world government
a war with north korea
nuclear war
american prosperity
new discoveries in science
religon weakens
one thing for sure, worldy events will affect what the watchtower puts out.
I think they will certainly still exist, but with unrecognizable doctrines from today...just like the evolution since 1879.
Fundametally, they are a profitable corporation with millions if not billions in real estate holdings and other investments. They
will greatly expand the membership in 3rd world/developing countries while dwindling greatly in the european and north american
environments. Ultimately, they will survive in some form. Even the original "Russelites" still exist as the "Dawn Bible Students".
Even if membership dwindles in more affluent countries, they will likely remain highly profitable by expanding the publishing
in developing countries. Their real estate holdings will only INCREASE in value over time, so they can easily afford a hit
in membership.
My wish is that the WTBTS no longer exists 50 years from now.
Hopefully, its boards of directors and all possible familial successors will be stricken by flesh-eating bacteria and die an awful death, while at the same time this cult is exposed for what it is, leading to its bankruptcy. Yes, it's a pipe dream, but we can all have one, right?

The Nethinim/Given Ones will now be considered part of a secondary anointed class on earth.
Blood transfusions will no longer be an issue having been replaced with blood fraction products.
The decrease in publishers will result in the combining of 3 congregations to make one, with the selling off of property and donations direct to the WTS which will be having severe cash flow problems.
Because of the lack of men in the organization, many congregations will be made up entirely of females. While not appointed, sisters will be handling the administrative duties (with a headcovering of course).
The WTS will have instituted television and radio programs funded by the sale of the property in Brooklyn. The rank and file are told that this is because it unsafe in the NYC area due to the increase in terrorist bombings.
Door to door will be replaced with telephone witnessing.
