Auto Focus - story of Bob Crane

  I never saw this movie when it was in the theaters in 2002. The IFC channel recently showed this and I watched it tonight. In the mid 70's my parents took me to the dinner theater in Dallas to see a play. Bob Crane was in the audience to announce his show that was starting the next week. I was ecstatic because I loved watching Hogan's Heroes. This movie portrays him as a total sex sicko. I vaguely remember all the women going around him. Because I was so young, I didn't get to meet him.

  I saw the show years ago and it made me sick . If that is truly the life Bob Crane led which sounds like it is ,it was disgusting and sick.

  I love "Hogan's Heroes".

  My parents went to a lot of dinner theaters when I was a kid. I remember seeing Joan Fontaine, Dan Dailey, the two Leave it to Beaver boys, and some others. I really wanted to go meet him over in the corner of the theater but there was a crowd of people and my JW mother said we were going. A few years later after he was murdered my mom said I should have let you go over there so you could have gotten his autograph!
