Well, it's still early. I'm sure the sessions haven't finished for the day just yet. Give her a few hours to get back and I know she'll be ready to de-brief and get all the ikky feelings out.
She'll probably post tomorrow with all her experiences and feelings about the assembly.
I think she'll probably review her notes, before posting them for all us 'postates here..... Then she'll write us a novel, I'm sure....heh heh heh.

Did she say if she was staying over? When I had the extra dough, a hotel stay was a big treat. LOL
Back in the olden days, when my kids were young, we had a two hour (or longer if it was a Thurs or Fri and we got stuck in traffic) drive to and from the convention site. If we stayed to clean up (which we usually did), we sometimes wouldn't get home until 8:00 or later.
I honestly don't know how they can do it, go to the assembly/convention that is with the feelings they have! I realise Richies pretty young, and probably has an obligation to do so to keep the peace, and he seems pretty keen to score with hot jw chicks so is maximising his chances lol! Anyway, I just couldn't endure it, I'd sit their scoffing and feeling nauseous
I'm with you Frog. I don't know if I was fed up with it all and just didn't realize it yet or what, but the last couple District Conventions I attended, I couldn't force myself to go all three days and some days even left early. I would get all groggy after lunch and felt that if I was going to sleep, I could do it much more comfortably at home. Hehehe
Knowing what I know now, and feeling the way I do about the organization, I'd have a real hard time even making the attempt...Blah.
Hope they are surviving okay.
