What's the program for the "Godly Obedience" district convention?

    Hi,

    I hope this is in the right section. I just want to know what the program for the district assy is? If someone can be bothered to type in it or scan it and post (standard forum picture hosting tags is it on here [ img ] [ /img ] but without the spaces?) that would be much appreciated. I assume it's the same program in the US as it will be here in the UK so doubt it matters too much where the program is from.

    If anyone has been already you can of course feel free to state your impressions, depressions on it etc.

    WHy do I want to know? 'cause I want to know if and what to go to and if and what to avoid! LOL and just to increase my chances a bit, ....you would be rendering a great service and it would be much appreciated.

    My mother and I were just talking about this...shes still in and I am so very out but we talk about so called spiritual or should I say organisational things....well she mentioned that the assembly was called Godly Obedience...I burst out laughing...and paraphrased the title to say...DO AS WE SAY OR ELSE....she didnt get the hint.

    She babbled on with the usual bollocks about being pleased to take the counsel from the assemblies because she knows its for her own good....sad really...not only do the WTS control peoples lives but they make them believe that every bit of guilt and every bit of further control is for her their own good....

    Why can people not see this...

    I just played a little mind game with myself. I read the program as if I was actually going to be going to the DC. I immediately got this feeling like a huge weight was being dropped on my shoulders ....hmmm, like a yoke. Whatever happened to that "light yoke" that Jesus promised?

    Why don't they just call a spade a spade for crying out loud.

    It should be titled "ORGANIZATIONAL OBEDIENCE" not Godly Obedience. UGH!!!

    Not only the heavy weight did I feel....but I felt like I had a tie on again and it was starting to strangle me. Puleeze.

    There will be a reinfocement of the mind conditioning, unhealthy food for the spirit presented at jehovah's table. Always advising the JWs to be good but never doing anything to help them in this respect.
