Isn't it interesting how easy it is to see the ridiculous in other people's beliefs; but, never in your own?

Thanks Terry - great post. Can't wait until I reach OT III and get the rest of the tale.
As for Xenu, the Loyal Officers finally overthrew him and they locked him away in a mountain on one of the planets. He is kept in by a force-field powered by an eternal battery and Xenu is still alive today.
Excellent! I'll be praying tonight that the "eternal battery" doesn't fail due to an intergalactic wind storm. Then again, some of the garbage we believed... 1918/1919, Cedar Points, Da Judge, and of course Russell's pyramids and Fred's 'Tales of the Cosmos.'
Has anybody known a Scientologist? I have. I had a best friend once who was really all about the religion in a major way.
He was one of the most colorful characters I ever met or knew.

I wonder if Tom Cruise is at that level. I just happened to read an article about him and his brand new girlfriend whom he's allegedly planning to marry. It tells of him trying to convert his wives and girlfriends to Scientology, but "not in a pushy way".
Scientology interests me. Not in a 'I want to join' way or anything. Just because it's so secretive and successfully so. Thanks for sharing.
I've never met a scientologist.
Why was earth called Teegeeack, but other words are in english like Loyal Officers and Eternal Battery?
Also why is it Part of the Galactic uniform code of spelling and grammer to capitalize the first letter of proper nouns?
Thank you I look forward to the answers to these and more questions.
