I'm halfway through reading Salvation to get some idea of what my father was being fed when he got baptised in 1939 and, although 1914 is mentioned several times, there has been no reference to this important, spectacular event.

Jesus was enthroned as king in 1914, right?

He had been ruling invisibly, the WTS says. BUT WHAT THE HELL HAS HE BEEN DOING FOR ALMOST 100 YEARS??

    Administrative stuff, Jesus says.

He needs his Papa to give him the green light and so far he is sitting frustrated on his throne, not being able to do much of anything since 1914 except whisper to the GB that they should print wacky articles on aluminum cookware, gravity, and oral sex (well, that was during the heady 1970s).

You know, I thought Jesus' reign was supposed to be for a THOUSAND years. He's ruling, isn't he, so his reign must've already begun, no? But so far, the first century of his millenial reign hasn't seen squat.
