Two paragraphs -- how sad!

The following are quotes of 2 paragraphs from an article posted on the WTS's website. It's sad how many flaws there are in just these 2 paragraphs alone. http://www.watchtower.org/library/rq/article_06.htm

    4. As soon as Jesus became King, he threw Satan and his wicked angels out of heaven and down to the locality of the earth. That is why things have become so bad here on earth since 1914. ( Revelation 12:9 , 12 ) Wars, famines, pestilences, increasing lawlessness?all these are part of a "sign" indicating that Jesus is ruling and that this system is in its last days.? Matthew 24:3 , 7, 8 , 12 ; Luke 21:10, 11 ; 2 Timothy 3:1-5 .

    5. Soon [just prior to Armageddon] Jesus will judge people, separating them as a shepherd separates sheep from goats. The "sheep" are those who will have proved themselves his loyal subjects. They will receive everlasting life on earth. The "goats" are those who will have rejected God's Kingdom. ( Matthew 25:31-34 , 46 ) In the near future, Jesus will destroy all goatlike ones [at Armageddon]. ( 2 Thessalonians 1:6-9 ) If you want to be one of Jesus' "sheep," you must listen to the Kingdom message and act on what you learn.? Matthew 24:14 .

With regards to paragraph 4: It's not true that Jesus became King in 1914. Therefore, neither can it be true that Satan and his demons have been cast down to the earth. It's not true that Matthew 24 has been fulfilled.

With regards to paragraph 5: It's not true that the sheep and goats are to be separated prior to Armageddon, as is taught. (Instead, they are to be separated during the 1000-year reign of Christ.) But the most glaring inconsistency in their reasoning is that they say those who prove to be "loyal" (the sheep) at the time of such pre-Armageddon judgment "will receive everlasting life". How ridiculous! Especially since the WTS knows all too well that such ones will first have to pass the test of Satan being loosed at the end of the 1000 years in order to qualify for "everlasting life on earth".

Yes, it's quite obvious that the separation of the sheep and goats (Matthew 25) takes place AFTER Armageddon, rather than before Armageddon. Actually, the fact is the WTS teaches that the goats receive their punishment at Armageddon, but that the sheep receive their reward a thousand years later than that--at the end of the 1000 years. Now how inconsistent is that! Matthew 25 makes it clear that the sheep and goats are judged at the same time, and also receive the consequences of that judgment (life or death) at the same time. The WTS's explanation of things is so outrageous that it's even hard to explain, which in itself suggests that they have a wrong understanding--simply because it's so difficult to explain. A correct understanding is never very hard to explain.

right on their own website? Egad, how embarassing !

don't they preach no such thing as an immortal soul?

immortal - does not die - pre armageddon sheep?
    soul - the person

so they do not die but live on earth forever.

I don't have those funny faces to add (mac)
but I would add the rolling eyes one if I could.

Which is it? Is Jesus gonna destroy the goats or the goatlikes? What's the difference between a goat and a goatlike anyway?

One difference is that literal goats like to eat the cans that vegetables and such things come in. LOL!

    How funny...CAN-DO people! LOL

Hey schizm, why not call WT and let them know? Oh wait, that would spoil all the fun though. Nevermind.

I just don't care if these facts are true or false. Anyway, you could argue during hours about what is in the Bible. As Euclide said in the antiquity: what can be claimed without proof can also be denied without proof.

    Dear Ted and Dan,

You guys keep on trying to match Freaky Freddy Franz with your eloquent dissertations regarding spiritual things. Unfortunately for you, Freddy was a master con man and you are pathetic wannabees with a Writing Dept. that is very incompetent because all the brains were either DF'd for apostasy or they busted outta the WT prison as soon as they saw how ridiculous y'all are. Give it up, boyz. The handwritin' is on the wall for your wacko religion. When Freaky Freddy went on to his award (I bet he's in a state of shock right now) what was foretold in Rev. that your waters would dry up is becoming a reality for truth seekers and a nightmare for the WT faithful.

    Have a nice day,

    Well, Schizm!

Despite the rocky start, I'd say that you are turning into a fine apostate. Intellectual integrity is starting to make inroads and your pent up inner frustration you've been pretending wasn't there is beginning to be made more public.

Isn't it very like a fire shut up in your bones, just aching to get out? And it isn't about beating anyone, it is just about holding them accountable for what they teach and showing where what they teach doesn't match the source they claim to teach from. Revealing reality is not abuse, no matter how often the WTS claims that it is.

These posts were cathartic for you, weren't they?

    Respectfully,

What's the difference between a goat and a goatlike anyway?

Maybe it depends on what their "Take home pay" is.
