Anybody here try to sell these on Ebay?

I always seem to get a JW threatening me when I do

Tell the one making the threat to pi$$ off.

If you own it, you can sell it.

There are usually between 300 and 400 books matching the search keyword "Watchtower" at any given time on Ebay.

Sell, sell, sell.

What is the Law on selling Watchtower library??? They say it is for free for JW's only?

If you own it, you can sell it.

It doesn't matter what it is, or whether you got it for free, or received it as a gift, or made it yourself out of spit and bailing wire.

It could be a "free" program from a political rally; or a "free" prize inside a box of cereal. Or a free home-delivered flyer from the 1920s advertising some neat old stuff.

If you can find a buyer, you can sell it. Original value or amount paid when it passed into your possession is not a factor.

I can't explain right now, because it happened about 3 weeks ago. But the threats are firm, and seem kinda sure?

Yes, I'm sure the threatening JW sounded "kinda sure". But then again, they ALWAYS sould like that: it is called arrogance. But they are still wrong. Wrong about almost everything.

I heard that the "free, donation basis" is not in most (all?) countries (finally). But again, it doesn't matter if the WTS gives these away for free or not. If you own it, you can sell it.

HOWEVER, if you are making copies of the WT Library, this is clearly a violoation of copyright. I assume that is not what you mean?
