In the following verses it is apparent that John the Baptised, and Jesus Christ himself taught that the Kingdom of God has drawn near. This was many, many years ago. It is more then apparent that the Kingdom of God was not established back then. Does this make John the Baptised, and also Jesus Christ false prophets? I would say not.
1 In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Ju·de´a, 2 saying: R EPENT , for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.
17 From that time on Jesus commenced preaching and saying: Repent, YOU people, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.
