My closest friend from high school lives and works in Sun Valley. He became a jw at about age 35, and followed the party line for about 10 years then faded, although I think he still views it as 'the truth'. I've tried to get him to look at this site but he is computer illiterate and isn't willing to learn.

We were there three weeks ago, and visited with several of our nieces. Two are children of ex JW's (the others are their kids) but they didn't follow the religion when they grew up.

Nope, but lived in Yerington, NV some years back and will actually be traveling there next week for a visit.
I am meeting up with a bunch of x-jws that left the cult after a major scandel there.
