I have not seen the American version but this was a wonderful foreign film. Has english subtitles.

If you like Foreign Films i can thoroughly recommend "Downfall".
It is a stunning film that captures the hopelessness of Nazi Germany in its Death throes.
Dont go see it if its fun and comedy your after though!It is very heavy with some very distressing scenes.

if it is just pure unadulterated no-brainer laughs that you want then i highly recommend dodgeball.
my son brought the dvd home and i said no i don't want to watch that rubbish.

Prophecor: I saw Shall we Dance and it was great. As purplesofa said the original foreign film was great too, even better.
So if you can stans subtitles I say rent it. You are going to love it.
But again, the english version was made surprisingly well.
The Intepreter is on my list as well as Crash.

May I recommend Hotel Rwanda? It was a great film and very moving story. Like the Pianist it get you thinking, wondering if you have the courage, stength to save yourself and others.
It really is a must see. -

hi sandy, some interesting movies i enjoyed are hotel rwanda very moving flim...sideways fine acting...the chinese flims i like are...house of flying daggers...good action and love story....kung fu hustle and shaloin soccer both very funny.
