Even when they occasionally get to do preaching, they are preaching a different gospel, not what Paul & others preached. Read Galatians etc. They do not follow the example or teachings of Christ on many things. They are as far removed from first century Christianity as any Christian group I know in terms of their central message and spirit. True, they get much of the language and some moral standards right ie on the surface, for appearance sake.
Christianity is all about us as individuals, not about which one of the tens of thousands of "Christian" human organisations we join. One faith does not mean one manmade organisation. There was no Governing Body of any description in Apostolic times.

Number one concern for a JW: Further the oganization
Number one concern for most Xtians I meet: Show compassion for others.
I believe the saying is "you shall know my people by their works" or something like that.
