Remember that Jesus was 30 years old when he began his ministry, which would eventually result in the production of his "bride". Perhaps there was a parallel with Adam in the sense that Adam may have also received HIS bride (Eve) at the age of 30. Since current official WT doctrine is that Armageddon is only being delayed after 1975 by the interval between the creation of Adam and that of Eve, 6000 years from Eve's creation might well end in 2005, which would mean that this is the big year!

And besides that, from Jesus' birth in 2 BCE to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 CE was 71 years. Since that was "this generation" in the first century, it follows that "this generation" would be longer in the end time because there is a greater work to be done. Say, 20 years longer. And 91 years from 1914 = 2005.

And couldn't the events of 9/11/01 be compared to the armies surrounding Jerusalem? It was 3 1/2 years after the armies appeared that destruction actually came. And 3 1/2 years from 9/11/01 brings us to...did you get 2005 again?

So as you can see, there are LOTS of good reasons to expect Armageddon this year!
