What does "Ibid" stand for

    I'm doing some research & often get referred to Ibid. Can anyone tell me what this stands for please?

    It means that the page number is from the last work previously mentioned.

    Relating to the Witnesses, maybe it stands for "I've been in Denial"....

    ibid is used for abbreviating a previous source...if i am not mistaken..

    used US News & World Report article instead of listing the whole name...the next time I used it in sequnce I could just put (ibid p58) instead of

    (US News & World Report, p 58).
