Don't feel the least bit guilty about criticising the Watchtower or posting here! Never Forget that the Watchtower could
eliminate nearly all 'apostate' opposition - if it cared to do so - merely by reforming this cold, legalistic cult that they've built.
If the Watchtower really cared for it's young people - if it really took care of its aged - if it really bothered to emphasize Bible
based principles of love - if it really encouraged charity and brotherhood - would anyone bother posting on this or other sites?
If anyone did, who else would listen?
Because of decades of rot and broken promises, the Watchtower has gotten itself into its present predicament. We are doing
little more than pointing out these facts. THEY are the ones who selfishly and coldly refuse to change FOR THE BETTER!
If you are a lurker - and have regard for the Bible - what does it indicate about corrupt prophets, kings and priests in ancient
Israel? That they ruined their nation? At the end of Solomon's corrupt reign, the Bible speaks of "Jehovah" raising up 'resisters'
against Israel. Even Almighty God got fed up with them and started making trouble for their misrule.
Does the Watchtower need money? How much imagination would it have taken to establish their own college - rather like
Notre Dame or BYU? Would they benefit from alumni donations? Tuition? Hello?
Could the Watchtower encourage programs for young people? Or is it all too easy to wag their disapproving fingers
and condemn - and disfellowship? Is the Watchtower afraid to 'get their hands dirty' in work that really benefits anyone?
Are they afraid this could expose just how impotent their teachings and methods are?
And no, don't repeat that nonsense that 'we can't do that stuff because we have to preach' ! They are lying to you!
In the book of Acts, it clearly teaches that the early congregation grew rapidly in response to officially sanctioned charity
within the congregation ( feeding poor widows). Outsiders took note of the internal care that Christians manifested - that
it wasn't just a lot of empty words! Beyond that, what sense does it make to zealously try to convert others while
entire congregations drift away?
The Watchtower could change the blood issue and disfellowshipping with little loss to itself - towards the exercise of
personal conscience but it doesn't want to do so because greediness dominates their thinking. It is greed for control
that excludes all other appeals to conscience or Scripture.
Never doubt for a second that our cause is just. They are the ones who have inherited the hard-heartedness of the
legalists who killed Jesus.
I welcome any apologist who cares to defend the Watchtower on this site. If none care to appear, I take that as further
evidence of just how indefensible this cult is.
