a little seach on google will find lots of people on both sides of the fence, suggesting different figures for deaths to support all their agendas.

honestly, i think the witnesses are growing so apathetic as a group that any time the society can spice things up a little and stir up the fieldservice numbers they'll do it. even if it means a fib or two.
tragedy always get's people going again. they all want to be associated with martyrdom, at least that is the way it was in the congregations i attended.
