It was a beautiful day here today. I must say that I'm the happiest I've been my whole life. For so long I've been so jaded, so trying to make the pieces fit.

I can't help feeling I've been preparing my whole life for this, and it feels great. No regrets. I just realized I have 200+ postings here and I am now in the MASTER POSTER CLUB!!!

Thanks everyone for your encouraging words and support.

You sure are a master poster!

My favorite love song, since you posted one...

    Ice Cream - Sarah McLachlan

    mm mmm mmmm mm....

Your love is better than ice cream,
better than anything else that I've tried
& your love is better than ice cream
everyone here knows how to fight

    it's a long way down,
    it's a long way down,
    it's a long way down
to the place where we started from.

Your love is better than chocolate
better than anything else that I've tried
& oh love is better than chocolate
everyone here knows how to cry

    it's a long way down
    it's a long way down
    it's a long way down
to the place where we started from

    Hey Seven,

Frenchy, perhaps, has a life elsewhere. I, however, do not.

Thus, I reign supreme in lacking a social life. But......your post was just made before mine!!!!!!
Could this mean that you, perhaps, ????????

Missing your icq's - must have gotten a life, eh?

Hi Path. Glad your having a good day.

Did you get all the pieces to fit? (Sigh)

    Hey Path,

Btw, on the tv show, "The Golden Girls," they always played that song,

"Thank you for being my friend"

If you keep hanging out with girl's mothers, you'll get to know Golden Girls reruns.

    Thanks for the replies.

    Waiting:

First of all, You're talking about a completely different song. I would never post such trash.

Second, its not just "girls mothers". Lots of times I finished work early, or had time to kill in between jobs, so I'd stop by a friend's place. Even though times have changed, its still the mother who is most often home.

I guess they feel sorry for single guys or whatever, so they make you something to eat, and you just shut up and let them talk about whatever. (Fair trade?)

I'm no "mommas boy" either. I haven't been at home for a long time and I can take care of myself. I used to change my youngest brothers diapers (the crappy cloth kind with the pins), do laundry, do dishes, the whole 9 yards basically. (a mans work is never done lol) Most of my friends my age are still at home getting breast-fed still.

I will make a post about this when I get around to it. Sisters are the back-bone of the organization in that they are the "grinders" doing most of the thankless work. Alot of the brothers are arrogant and demanding because the org lets them feel they are owed respect, when it is something that most be earned.

For me, I wanted to find the right mix of emotion and logic. The Organization is a cold and heartless place. Runs like a machine. If only they captured the hearts of the women in it, they could do whatever they wanted as far as teachings go. Piss them off and treat them badly, they will rip you to shreds.

Dear waiting, I would not call the sense of commitment you have to this board as lacking a social life. I've learned much from you and this would be a sad place without your presence. I look forward to conversing with you, RhW, and the other more mature posters here-kind of makes up for the lack of having parents who can't because of their religion, love their children anymore.

I miss our icq's too. No, I didn't get a life. I just had a very goodweekend for a change.
