You know until this very minute I had forgotten I knew a family with the last name of Welch that lived in Ocala, FL and I do believe the father was on house arrest for some type of sexual offense or molesting his teenage daughters. BUT, he was still an active JW and had the meetings piped into his home via phone because he was on house arrest.

This was probably 15 years ago. I was friends with their daughters friend, but was allowed to go to the house when I found about him and his ankle bracelet. It was really weird, and I never went back.

One of the most serious factors that could affect the speed of the cases is the health of Jehovah's Witness attorney Robert Schnack, who at the time of the Dec. 9 hearing was due to have a medical appointment where he would be told if he had cancer.

Perhaps he should pray more and leave it in Jehovah's hands.

I do believe that in the long run, the arrogance that the WTS shows, whenever accused of wrongdoing, will be their downfall... Hey I can dream, can't I?

Great web site, thanks. Just think about it was not that long ago we would never have been able with such ease become privy to such facts.

"We don't have the resources of the Jehovah's Witness church," Nolen said, seeming to accuse the church of dragging the cases out.

Is that linked to the failing health of the Dub lawyer?

It amazes me that there has been no class action lawsuit against the tower. Surely it is as defective and destructive as tobacco. And in these cases, why isn't RICO the anti-racketeering laws invoked?

The attorney is part of a HUGE law firm. There is no reason one of his associates couldn't handle the case in his absence due to illness. THIS IS A STALLING TECHNIQUE.
