Scales of Justice

Thank you for your reply. I wasn't questioning Gods love but the scales of justice that the Society teaches. It does not teach that others will survive.

If you look at the ratios in the yearbook it shows a definite disadvantage to accepting 'the truth' in these non-Christian countries. If Jehovah is behind the organisation he would be able to overcome social barriers. To me it shows that the organisation is relying on men and the reaction of men to that message.

Do you really feel that Jehovah is behind the preaching work? It does not seem to be very successful at reaching hearts and convincing people.

I always felt that if Jehovah was truly behind the organisation they would not have felt the need to constantly remind witnesses at assemblies (sometimes taking hour long talks) of the need for donations. At meetings this seems to be a very popular topic from the society. The organisation does not practice what it preaches on reliance on Jehovah by continually reminding the congregation of their monetary needs.

I left 'the truth' for many reasons, all that fill me with anger now, (it cost me my education). I am now free to see the organisation for what it was, it is always easier to see things from outside rather from within. I cannot and will not ever wish for the destruction of this system, which means individual lives, GOOD people, children, families, neighbours. I truly feel for people and would not want to live in a society that destroyed them knowing the scales were not evenly balanced.

The organisation desires for this system to end but I for one have empathy for ALL the people of the world. I do not think that God lacks love but the ORGANISATION does in its twisted interpretation of scripture.

    Welcome to the board Individual!

Very interesting questions. I just had a comment on what you said about how the ones resurrected would be taught under one religion, one educational system, etc. Your post got me thinking! JWs believe billions will be resurrected. Currently, there only a few million JWs. If all of these JWs survive, then they would still be the minority. Aren't they a little naive to think that all these billions will automatically have to believe them? What makes them think that these billions will HAVE to believe these few minority?

Will these resurrected have to go through an Ellis Island type thing before being let out into the paradise earth? A place where they will be taught and well educated on the "truth" before being able to associate with others? It's such a naive way of thinking/believing that all resurrected will believe the JWs, even if it is only JWs who survived. They don't even know where these ones will be resurrected. Are they planning to have JWs at every cemetary after the Big A? How are these resurrected to know that JWs are the only ones to have survived? Do they think these people won't have some common sense questions to ask? What if they ask these "common sense" questions as you did? Can these resurrected people be labeled as the "evil slave class" in the perfect world? I guess maybe in the perfect world, these "evil slave" people will be zapped on the spot for asking such questions.

If they are a spirit-directed org, then why haven't they come up plans for post Armageddon?

Just thinking too much again... oh well... I hope everyone is having a terrific Sunday! Take care!
