To this day some have claimed that Rutherford was buried secretly at Beth-Sarim or Beth-Shan anyway, even though the Society has stated in print that Rutherford's remains were sent to Brooklyn for burial.
I remember/read somewhere that he was buried at Staten Island, New York. Can anyone confirm that?
There is a grave on Staten Island marked as Rutherfords.
His casket was delivered to the gates othe cemetry by the undertaker. From there it was carried by 6 men from the GB to the grave. No one else was there so what happened between the gate and the burial we don't know ...
There is/was what looked like a grave only a few feet from the crypt at Beth Sarim which had lain under a pile of rubbish which was finally removed.
Some had hoped to have enough dollars to purchase Beth Sarim when old Dr Chan died so we could have the rights to dig up that site

Fat chance today, Jan! That mansion is worth at least 3.5 million dollars and I can prove it! Ed Gruss has got me motivated and on a mission about that place. Heck, it's nearly in my own back yard right now! I cruised by there just a week ago and noticed little kiddie trycycles on the patio. Da Judge would have never liked that!
I will someday soon get the nerve to approach the attorney who owns it now and get a grand tour. I can do this. I'll pretend that I'm not a real Farkel or something.
A friend of mine who I introduced to Professor Gruss and who just met him recently and spent three hours with him has my request to get the EXACT address of Beth Shan. I tried to find it based upon the info. in Gruss's book, but failed. Ed's on vacation right now, but patience will yield results. I will have much to say on the topics of Beth Sarim and Beth Shan when I'm finished with my little fact-finding mission.

I still think it would be a good idea to post on the internet the complete floor plans
for Beth-Sarim. Then we could see if it was REALLY designed for over a dozen

The exact address where Beth Shan used to be is probably in the book
by Gruss and Chretien.
If I recall correctly, Beth Shan was in Mission Valley, while Beth Sarim is
located on a hilltop, or plateau, in the Kensington area of San Diego. The
house does overlook Mission Valley, so one might have been able to
see Beth Shan from Beth Sarim.

I know Farkel! That's why we all couldn't get the money together to buy it. Len Chretien was given first right to purchase it, but just coudln't afford it. He still hadn't recovered enough financially after the Witneses of Jehovah movie and being ripped off on that.
We all communicated about that time but between us all we just couldn't make it ...... We are in the wrong business, all of us. We should have made up our own cult and made some money and then we would have had enough $$$$$$
