OSCAR WILDE said, "There is no sin except stupidity".
However, I heard a better one the other day that got me thinking.
I wish I could remember who said it.
It went something like this. There is only one sin and that is "theft".
All else is a variation.
1.If you murder a man you steal all he has and all he is ever going to have.
2.When you lie you steal another person's right to hear and know the truth.
3.When you fail to honor parents or God you steal from them the respect due them for giving you life and for enabling you to flourish.
You get the idea.
Would you agree that there is only one sin: theft?
If not, how would you argue against that view?
