By coincidence my Allstate agent called a moment ago with an estimate of $1072 a year ($89.33 month). That is MUCH better and more of what I was hoping for!
He said that because I was already using Allstate for Renters Insurance I get a $200 a year discount.

Ahhh...allstate. I had allstate. They cancelled me because after 15 years of coverage, I had two claims within 5 years. They ammounted to a total of 1200 bucks worth of damage. "You're in good hands with allstate"...you just gotta watch out for that middle finger!
