If I want your opinion, I'll give it to you!

: Is there safety in numbers? Is the majority right? Always?

I like what Mark Twain said about that: "If fifty million people believe a foolish thing, it is still a foolish thing."

That statement is a lot more clever than using the term for the logical fallacy that defines it: "argumentum ad populem!"

    Is there safety in numbers?

It seems probable to me that we are "programmed" to go along with the "mob" through evolution. People did survive by getting together in numbers. Today, we've inherited this tendency from our distant ancestors who survived because of this. So, the tendency is to conform.

That's why informing ourselves is vital.

Well there's the root of your lady troubles, Logan. You need to stiffen up your opinion and don't be afraid to show it off, either.

Princess says:I bet you are glad to see me here, aren't ya Terry?

Yes! Welcome and join the fun!

I'm of the opinion you can still emphasize a point using bold or italics or even underline, but it really annoys me when the fonts get bigger and bigger.

But you knew that didn't you Terry
