Wow, what a surprise welcome home!!
Thanks everyone. We had a great time, and walked all up and down the strip, checking out the hotels. We stayed at the Aladdin, which is gorgeous, and has an Arabian theme. We learned yesterday it is now owned by Planet Hollywood, since September 1 and they will be making a lot of changes. It's a shame because the Desert Passage, which is a Mall inside, is really a special place giving the feel of being in the Casbah or India (cleaner I'm sure) or somewhere else exotic.
We won a lot, and lost some, and then lost more. Oh well. The games are fun and we had a blast. Oh,.................and my birthday dinner at the multi-ethnic buffet was amazing!!
All in all I had a great birthday.
