DA means you are a wordly person now, and gives no judgement. DF is excommunicating you from the church after they judged you. They are actually not the same thing. The actually don't ocommand you to shunn a DAed person they just imply you should. It is all a legal game. If more JWs were better edjucated then they would see most of this.

carmel--- To my knowlege they always claimed spirit direction with their slave class doctrine . I have personally heard them say it in the congregation and at book studies .
I believe that shunning is in the bible but only in certain circumstances . The blood issue is not one of them . It says greedy persons , extortioners , homosexuals alot of unclean human behaviors are mentioned in a negative way but as far as blood it is my opinion they were concerned about upsetting the jewish converts by eating meat that was not properly bled or blood puddings that the pagans used in rituals . Arrrrrrrrrrghh those people can make mountains out of mole hills . I got one word for them
