Until the Edict of Toleration, signed by the Turkish Caliphate in 1844, apostacy in Islam was a capital crime. Some schools of radical Islam still haven't "signed on" and execute those that join other religions, especially women. Wonder if the FDS would consider it a capital offense if the secular govt. didn't prevent it?
