I come bearing bad news... Today I was given the final decision on the time off from work for the fest.
It was denied. Apparently two of us had applied for the same time off, and as we are majorly understaffed as it is, it is impossible for us both to be off at the same time. Well, obviously, the time goes to the other guy.

I am still going to try to find someone to cover the shifts for me, but it isn't looking good. :(
