OK, I really need to get on with booking my flight. But, before I can do that, I need to know how long I am staying, and this is based completely on how long others are staying.. lol. If nothing else, Rachel / Steve, how many days worth of tourism are available in and around Seattle? Just wondering...

Any hints, my good apostate buddies / budettes?

Looks like you're asking the impossible, dude.
How much tourism is there in any area?
You could spend a day or a year, in a place, and still have stuff to see.

Why is it based around how long other are staying, ya needy b*gger?
    Just book, already!!
Are you scared that Rachel might get you alone??
    LOL

I'm heading home on The Tuesday morning.

    <sigh> Ross, Ross, Ross...

For example, in St. Louis, I'd say there is about 2 days of half decent tourism. In Manchester, England, I'd say there is a good 3 or 4 days, what with various museums, etc. Devon, a week, easily.

And it's not that I'm being needy! Quite the opposite, I wish not to be needy, i.e. I don't want to be calling Rachel and Steve on Thursday morning saying "Hey, everyone else left, wanna hang out?" so I don't look like a d0rk eating in a strange restaurant in a strange city all alone.

Thanks for your input, anyway dude. Right now it seems that Tuesday is the consensus.

    Skiing too??? yay!

Do I have to read all 14 pages of this thread to discover lodgings, etc.? I've been on vaca for 2 weeks so haven't kept up with the blow-by-blow and I want to make my arrangements .... someone please give me a hint, eh?

By the way, I'm attempting to lure a mad Celt to the extravaganza as well....that should add to the schenalligans!

I had a quick look, but I'm missing the address for the Hotel.
The nearest I could find was here:

I suspect Rachel will do a better job, than I...

Nice to have that in writing.

the hotel is www.ihotelinternational.com I've already pm'd bisous with the particulars.

FMZ, we'd never allow you to eat alone in strange restaurants. We'll be here long after everyone else has left! We live very close to the hotel as well.

We plan to caravan down to the city on Monday to see the sights. Lots to do in Seattle...

I'll not qualify what I meant

So you confess that there are some "strange" restaurants over there, then

Absolutely. We plan to take you to most of them. I've never seen any with beans on the breakfast menu though.

Keith....here's my idea.....but it could change. I was told flying on Christmas Day would be the best day as far as days that surround Christmas.....I guess people have already flown by then. I was planning on arriving on Christmas and leaving on tuesday...or wed. That gives me one day to recooperate.....or see the sights on monday. I'm shootin for not having to reccoperate on Monday, but I ain't makin any promises cuz I like 'cookies' and beer once in awhile.
