It was funny. But at the same time, it was sad.

The South Park crew was beating on the Mormons. And it was really funny.

Like they would say stuff like, "Well, Joseph Smith. Can we see these golden plates."

And he would be like, "No, the angel took them away."

Basically, it was funny.

But at the same time, it was sad. Because the South Park creator could have easily did something about the JW.

AND I WAS DUPED.

Oye... Crimony.

Yes it's an old one but a good one. I watched it again last night.

I was hoping they would do one on JW's, but JW's are really still just a fringe cult.

I thought it would go something like :

"And 1914 came and went (Dumb Dumb Dumb Dumb Dumb)"

One of my all time South Park faves. I watched it again last night and Steve finally saw it too. The animated sketch on Joseph Smith was priceless, made the whole Mormon background so ridiculous.

When they put it in that light, it is rediculous. But so many people follow it.

But I understand it, because if they did one on the like "Da Judge" it would be just as funny.

Could you imagine???

Da Judge makes everyone shave off their beard because they are emulating CT. Beth Sarim. Everything.

BTW, my second favorite South Park was the one with the "SEA-MEN."

Oh yeah! I think of it everytime I check on my son's Sea Monkeys. Really. I almost couldn't watch that episode, it was truly sick but the colony of Sea Men was a riot.

It's one of my favorites too, but I can't see them making a JW one just because it would be so similar. Being from Colorado, they probably have a lot more Mormons out there. Mormons are kind of a running theme for them.

If you haven't seen it, check out their movie Orgazmo. They also do the Mormon thing in there too. Trey Parker plays a Mormon and it opens with him going from door-to-door, with some hilarious objections. Eventually, he knocks on the door of a house where they're shooting a porno. One thing leads to another and he winds up playing the superhero star of the porno (Orgazmo) because it will help earn him money so that he and his fiance can afford to get married at the Mormon Temple. He'll star as the man behind the mask, but refuses to do the sex scenes so they get a double. It's not very explicit at all, but does have a lot of sexual content that might offend some. But I found it hilarious for the door-to-door parts alone.
