    The first picture looks a little like Fort Macon here on the coast of North Carolina, but I can see it is in Europe somewhere from the second picture.

    No, that can't be right, it's all National Park. The background where you are looks too built-up and urban. I give up.

    The building in the picture on the right looks awfully small. Could it be some sort of set to a movie? Such as LOTR?

    Indeed the whole town was used as a set in a famous movie. Those buildings are all real and original BTW. The wall thing I'm stood on featured in the movie the most.

    It looks to me like the opening scene from The French Lieutenant's Woman...one of my top ten all time favorites with Meryl Streep and Jeremy Irons.
