Sorry I can't make it this year, might have just about been able to make it if planes still flew from my home town direct but I found they don't anymore... so it would turn into quite a long trip. Perhaps next year or sooner, I could come if I could turn it into a longer holiday and book time off work.

Six of us got together and had wonderful few hours of great food,
great drinks, and last but not least, great company.
I and Cadaver (he doesn't post much) met GermanxJW at the Amsterdam
Central station. We wondered through Amsterdam the three of us while
there was a cultural festival. Amsterdam was just totally packed full of
people. We sat down, had a few beers, and later on Cynicus Maximus
showed up. Then a little later the stars of the show showed up;
Vivamus and Country woman.
We had dinner and good conversation.
I can recommend these get togethers for those that never attended them.
I hope you can make it next year Ozz. Looking forward to it already.

Thx for posting this - I needed a pick-me-up and your news got me thinking pleasant thoughts of times spent in Amsterdam. Ya know, Mrs Ozzie has a fantastic display of tulips out in our front garden already and it brings back memories of times spent marvelling at the bounty of tulips in Holland.
We're certainly looking forward to next year when we hope we can make it there.
In the meantime, my very best regards to all my dear freinds in Nederland. We've already sent a large gift to you - Viv will tell you what I mean!
