    Uh, no. We would be forcing our beliefs on everybody if we tried to do what Christians did in the 50's: changing the pledge to affirm our beliefs (e.g. "one nation, godless").

    Instead, we're simply asking for neutrality... neither for, nor against. Just take the subject out of a national ceremony that should have nothing to do with religion in the first place.
