I love the expression "governing body". Doesn't that make them "governors"? What does a "governer" do? Don't they govern or rule? They have set themselves up as "rulers".
1 Cor. 4:8 "You men already have you fill do you? You are rich already are you? You have begun ruling as kings without us, have you? And I wish indeed that you had begun ruling as kings, that we also might rule with you as kings."

No, Max Larson wasn't overlooked - his name doesn't appear in the list above because he is NOT a member of the GB; he's an officer of one of the legal corporations. The purpose of the restructuring was to provide no overlap between the business and theological functions for liability reasons. Max also is not "anointed," if I recall correctly.
