I'm not sure if anyone has been following the crisis in the porn industry, but there has been 5 actors so far to test positive for HIV since a male actor tested positve earlier in the month. Apparently, the male actor who started the whole HIV thing was doing an unprotected porn shoot in Brazil and then came back and began to spread the love. Many want to start a mandatory condom thing now in the porn industry. I talked to a lot of my friends and they said that was a good idea. Call me crazy, but I still think the actors should be able to choose for themselves. So off with the condoms I say.

Even if condoms can't protect a person from many std, it is a no brainer not to have some protection. Maybe if this guy had used a condom he may not have got hiv and then spread his love to infect others. Because of his actions others are now infected.

I know but isn't that kind of like occupational hazard. Those are the risks you take. Like if go Alaskan King Crab fishing to make a quick buck(up to 60K in three months) and you die, that's your fault right. Same thing with the porn industry.

I was watching a report on this subject. There is one film agency that has been requiring their actors to use condoms for two years. However, most of the rest of them feel that it will completely bankrupt them if they are required to do so. They feel that what will end up happening, is that the movies will be filmed unprotected in other counties and they will get the business.

I agree with what some people have said that it was these peoples choices to enter into the porn business and therefore their risks that they are taking, especailly by risking unprotected sex with people they know are very sexually active.

I do however belive that the porn industry should try and protect the 'employees' so to speak and seriously encourage the use of condoms. This way, people are still deciding for themselves what they should do, but at the same time being made aware of the fact that they are taking a hige risk with their lives. So really in my opinion it's gotta be...condoms on!!!

No if you go Alasken crab fishing or any other occupation ,you know to be careful to prevent any misshaps and prevent accidents. So no one should use any protection, we all have sex, so that means it is alright for everyone to not were protection and spread and infect as many people as we can. That is the hazards of having sex.

Ok, that is a good point, but it's not like the porn idustry doesn't take any precautions. All of the companies do rigourous testing before shoots and if don't have a clean bill of health, no action. Occasionaly, someone does slip through the testing process, accidents happen but I don't think that means the whole industry should have to pay.

Also, I was at the drug store last night and saw those female condoms along with those "new" twisted pleasure condoms, any feedback would be appreciated.
